Use the proper equipment. Our choice for deep stain removal is a Dupray Steam cleaner, extractor, and brush equipment if necessary.
Pre-treat the area first. Prior to undertaking deep stain removal, make sure to spray down the stained area with a high quality stain remover, or at the very least an all purposes cleaner mixed with warm water.
Use heat. Heat has an amazing ability to loosen even the most stubborn stains. The best choice is using an extractor that already has heating capability built into the equipment; however, you may use hot water spray or a steamer as alternate options.
Extract the stains in multiple steps for the best and most thorough results. Not all stains will come out on one try.
Consider using stain prevention. When you’re done with the stain removal and the surface has tried, apply 2 layers of Scotchgard™ upholstery protectant. This will significantly reduce stains in the future. For leather, we suggest applying Gyeon leather conditioning on your leather which will help prevent staining and leave your leather feel soft and luxurious.
Bonus tips:
✔Use a bristle brush to slowly agitate the stains out if they remain stubborn. Be careful to agitate softly to help protect the fabrics or leather.
✔Be realistic. Not all stains will come completely out and that's fine! It's the improvement that matters.
